This 8-1-2 plan 3979 is a late 1920s design that featured 8 sections, 1 drawing room and 2 compartments. This is when C O received a large order of streamlined passenger equipment. This item ships USPS Ground Advantage. C O had 6 cars of this type operated from the latte 1920s until late 1950 when all six were sold to Dem for service in Mexico.
