I don't want to see them back. When passenger cars became surplus on one railroad, they often were sold to other railroads where they had a second and even a third life before finally being scrapped. This kit does not come with an interior but installing a detailed interior would be a way of extending the model ING fun and perhaps elevating the car to contest quality level.

Walthers kits made good looking, accurate model's of passenger cars that were and still are popular and sought after by model ers. Sad commentary on some folks, isn't that also has extended its fees so that it now imposes its fee not only on the final sale price of an item, which it certainly is entitled to and is fair, but also on the cost of the shipping, which it isn't entitled to and isn't fair. I had a few jokers tell me their items never arrived.

The shipping I charge is what the shipping actually costs the least expensive way I can find. No high shipping and extra handling charges here.

I haven't had one claim of nondelivery since. Here's one of those kits.

And scale, dummy knuckle couplets. They also swapped their 6 wheel heavyweight trucks for more modern, 4 wheel, roller bearing trucks. All of the parts are in excellent condition, but some of the die cast parts have been repaired a mounting tab on the back of one end and one partition has been reattached with super glue, and the top of a door on a partition and has been super glued.

O scale kits, unlike ho scale kits, typically came without trucks.

And it's almost certain to cost you more later. And it could be an even longer until you see the car you want. I reuse clean boxes, envelopes and packing materials to save you money.

Assembly is straight forward and no one should have any difficulty finishing this model, not even someone with little or no experience building kits. Photos, i've found, often hide as much as they show, so I describe fully.

Walthers also identified the Denver Rio grandee western rr as another user of these cars, and there may have been others.

They're no longer made and haven't been for more than 30 years now. The prr classed these cars p70far. This one has not been started and appears complete, consisting of milled rounded wood roof, wood floor, die cast metal ends and vestibule partitions, stamped tin sides, wood and die cast metal underbid parts, plastic window glazing.

The modernized cars got new, wider, permanently sealed picture windows air conditioning new, rounded roofs and, of course, all new interiors.

If you too think this is unfair, tell. Walthers manufacture red a kit to build an o scale model of these cars, a 75 foot, 80 seat modernized passenger coach, kit no.

You pay what it costs and that's it. This modernized car can be run with older heavyweight cars, representing the transition years during which the new cars were being introduced.

Picture a couple of these in a consist behind a t1 or trailing an a b a lash up of Alcoa pain Tuscan red with pin stripes. That could be a while. My advice buy it when you see it. While this is a 2 rail scale car, if 3 rail is your persuasion, trucks and couplets for that use could be installed.

It also would be a challenge to your model ING skills.
