My best guess is that the car dates from the late 1930's to the early 1940's. Couplets are not marked and may or may not be Scale Craft. Ask any questions before buying. Please see images.
One truck bolster has been repaired and appears to be serviceable, but may need future replacement. For the model er who wishes to do a restoration, a pair of non operating couplets and brass retainers are also included. Scale Craft die cast trucks with plastic truck bolsters and steel, insulated wheel sets.
The car has been mostly stripped of its original paint and with some detailing and prep is ready for painting and descaling. Review images carefully they are a part of the brass side door castings, brass frame details.
Especially nice details on ends and frame. Short roof walks are replacements and probably not Scale Craft. Offered for your consideration is a vintage Scale Craft K1965 milk tank car. A pair of k d's are included, but not installed.
Buffers are complete and in good working order. The die cast frame has been slightly modified to accept couples. Serious buyers only please.
