No dust or dirt accumulation. Please see photos for contents and condition. Jade couplets and Walters folded paper diaphragms applied. Repainted in orange/maroon/black 1950 and into Union Pacific colors after 1955.

All windows are glazed. Stored in a climate controlled, smoke-free location. One small paint scratch on roof. No wheel wear.

No interior detailing. Prototypes were built in 1938 for Morning Hiawatha service orange/maroon/gray/brown colors. The paint and finishing work on this model quite good. The only indication of use is slight color loss on stirrup steps, grab irons, and truck side frames.

Paint work includes scale silver color separation stripes between orange and maroon at window line.
