Prototypes were built in 1940 for exclusive service on the Lark. Wheel treads show use but not loss of plating or wheel wear. Part of the initial run Coach Yard articulated Lark triple-unit diners un skirted version made by Kumata Japan. Please see photos for contents and condition.

Stored in a climate controlled, smoke-free location. The dormitory-kitchen unit SP 10274 was rebuilt in 1963 with a lounge for Coach passengers replacing the dormitory, changes windows on both sides of. No interiors, lighting or window glazing. There is a small dent in the roof of dormitory-kitchen unit aisle side-front.

The antenna wire on the club unit has three broken solder joints repaired with contact cement. Model's have Jade couplets applied at the non-articulated ends. Model shows signs of careful use.
