Deluxe, limited run edition model, with factory installed interior lighting, Preiser passenger figures, painted black window gaskets, and correctly grab irons lift rings, printed road number. Also correctly model led are the side sills with cut-outs for brake cylinders those cars equipped with clasp brakes. During the early Amtrak era they were often found in Chicago-Milwaukee, Chicago-Minneapolis, and Milwaukee-St. Louis assignments.

These coaches were used system-wide on the Milwaukee Road. The prototype 498-series cars had steam ejector air conditioning systems, with the exterior parts accurately replicated on these model's. Brand new, in original box with insert, instructions.
