Details:

I have had this in storage since purchased about 15 years ago. I am not including the box due to the damage both end flaps were torn up.

It may have been displayed for a short time as I did have a display track but I honestly do not remember. However it was purchased brand new from a dealer and thus far have had no complaints on other locomotives which were sold that I had stored in a similar manner and in the same location. If the box is important to your collection then this is not the item for you.

There was light dust on the locomotive and on the Styrofoam insert. This is a Lionel item cab sd 70 conventional bnsf locomotive. There is a small burnish mark near the speaker in the fuel tank. It has never been tested or run as I did not do not have a layout.

The Lionel box unfortunately was damaged by an animal while stored. Look at photo It is being sold as used simply because it has been removed from the box.

However, the Styrofoam nest insert is fine.
