We did not tested the smoke only small issue is a broken bell piece. Box includes original cardboard inserts to hold trains in place. Original box is in fair to good condition, showing some signs of age and storage wear.

Box shows some dirt and small surface tears.

But the piece is included and could be glued back in place.

It features remotely controlled forward - neutral and reverse. In addition to the missing telephone poles and track pieces, there are also some other small parts box picture that not included. Illuminated passenger car - very good condition light tested and working observation transformer 3 telephone poles there are two missing 8 pieces of straight track I do not know if this is all that came with set 5 curved definitely some as enough to complete the oval 1 power connector in lot really shape, showing only minor signs dust dirt from age.

Set comes to you in used good very condition and is 95 complete. It has been taped closed to secure all parts inside. Engine has been tested and looks to be in very good working order.
