A branch line went from Central, named for the railroad to rapidly growing city of Chicago. They are fully assembled RTR model's with detailed interiors, and add-on lighting kits separately available. Each road name has a Baggage-Mail, Baggage, Coach, Sleeper, Dome, Diner and Observation variety, The model's are currently available in both Micro-Trains Magnetometer. Douglas owned land near the terminal in Chicago.

They only do some incidental manufacturing today within the USA. Further expansion Continued into the early twentieth century. The Sioux Falls branch has been abandoned in its entirety. The model's are based on prototypes from the late 1950s and reasonably accurate though somewhat generic.

The originals were produced by Jato Japan operating as Skis Kinky. They not only designed the model's ,but they also built their own molds, did injection molding, painting, printing and packaging on model's.

The railroads simply hired replacements and withstood diminishing union pressure. Couplets as well Con-Coors Rigid Face couplets.

As of 2016, these have been produced in 40 road names across 7 different varieties for a total 280 cars. Although marked by violence and sabotage in the south, Midwest, western states, strike was effectively over a few months.

Later versions were made in China. Lincoln was a lawyer for the railroad. The IC is one of the early Class I railroads in US.
